How to Meet the Nice Pattaya Girls

An interesting pastime for anyone living full time in Pattaya is watching the huge numbers of guys who migrate to this beachfront town every year in search of Pattaya girls. It's true that there are plenty of girls in Pattaya, but most tourists arrive in town with a cockeyed view of what life here is really like.

There is no denying the fact that Pattaya, Thailand has become famous the world over as a destination for sex tourism. Estimates place the number of prostitutes in Pattaya at over 20,000. It's even been referred to in the press as the sleaziest town in the world.

On one occasion I met a 60 year old woman from New Zealand who had unknowingly come to Pattaya looking for a snorkeling adventure. She was so horrified by what she encountered on the streets that she refused to leave her hotel room after dark.

How to Meet the Nice Pattaya Girls

Not surprisingly, Western men flock to Pattaya by the thousands. Many a male visitor has likened it to paradise on earth. There's actually some truth to that notion, but there is much more to Pattaya than just sex. Actually, some very nice girls live there.

Most visitors to this part of Thailand use the term "Pattaya girls" interchangeably with the term "bar girls". In case you're unfamiliar with Thailand, a bar girl is a young lady who works in a bar, sells drinks, serves as hostess, dances, and socializes with the clientele.

It's from these bar girls that Pattaya gets its reputation, but incredible as it may seem to many visitors, there are other types of girls here as well. In fact, there are lots of beautiful girls from Pattaya who stay away from the bars, have never been in a bar, and who would never in their wildest dreams even consider the prospect of working in a bar.

These "nice" girls are not all that hard to meet in Pattaya. They're everywhere as a matter of fact. There are girls in Pattaya that work in banks, hotels, restaurants, supermarkets, and all kinds of ordinary jobs. There are even girls in Pattaya who work as doctors and lawyers. If you just have a little personality, you can meet and actually have a relationship with one of them. By the way, they will do everything the bar girls do; they just don't do it with everybody.

So how do you go about meeting a nice girl in Pattaya? If you're planning on being in town for an extended period of time, it wouldn't hurt to take some Thai language lessons. There are several language schools in Pattaya that offer basic "survival Thai" where they teach you the essential language skills like numbers, where, when, and how vocabulary that can make your life much more enjoyable in Thailand. The Thai girls really appreciate that you've made the effort to speak their language.

If you're planning on being in town for only a short while, you should check out some of the social networking websites that make it easy to meet Thai girls. Both Facebook and MySpace have networks setup for people in Thailand. HubPages is another site that has a community of people who live in Thailand. Connect with some of these folks prior to your trip. Start networking ahead of time.

Then there are the dating sites that many people are reluctant to use. You may not like the idea of meeting your Thai girlfriend on the internet, but it's actually quite common in Thailand. On some of the sites the girls have to pay to be listed and the guys pay for an introduction. Other sites are completely free.

Finally, there is no substitute for just letting your personality shine through and going right up to a pretty Pattaya lady and striking up a conversation. The nice Pattaya girls are not shy or rude and are very receptive to meeting western men.

You'll have to go slow, though. Just be respectful and take your time. Most respectable Thai girls will want to bring along a younger member of the family as a chaperone, like a sister or niece. After a couple of chaperoned dates, if you're lucky, you'll get taken home to meet mom and dad. If all goes well with the parents, you're in.

Pattaya Condos - An Interesting Alternative

Pattaya offers many condominiums which can be rented and/or purchased. There are several reasons why foreigners buy condos in Pattaya, yet the main reason is because foreigners can not own land. Owning a condominium is the only way to own real estate in Thailand up to this point in time.

Location, Location, Location

Pattaya Hotels

Like with any Real estate purchase the main value is in the location of the condo no matter where one chooses to buy real estate. The closer the condo is located to the sea, and the more breathtaking the view, the higher the purchase price. Most people think that condominiums with sea view are extremely pricey but that is not necessarily true in Pattaya.

Pattaya Condos - An Interesting Alternative

There are condominiums for sale for under one million Baht or around $ 30,000 depending on the exchange rate at the time of purchase. For a Condo close to the beach in an exotic location like Pattaya, that is not a lot of money. Thailand is a very attractive option for retirees because of the low cost of housing and living.

Monthly rent for newly updated, fully furnished, one million Baht Condominium in Pattaya starting at around 10,000-12,000 Baht, which makes it attractive for investors as well. Renting a condo in Pattaya is a great option for people who are not sure if they want to buy.

Condominiums usually offer the convenience of a modern building in close proximity to shopping and services. Amenities and low maintenance make condos the number one choice for people who do not want to have to deal maintenance that comes with owning a house.

Amenities In Condominium Complexes Might Include:

Health club facilities or Gym Garages and/or parking Community centers Swimming pools 24/7 security Party rooms Maintenance

Even for tourists coming to Pattaya for more than a month, renting a condo may be a great alternative compared to staying in a hotel. Not only is staying in a Hotel usually more expensive than staying in a condo but living in a condominium complex is also a great opportunity to meet other people who may be retirees or long term residents.

Most Condo Complexes Offer:

Attorney and translation services Convenience stores Laundry services Massage parlors Maid services Restaurants Car rentals

Live in a condo next time you visit Pattaya and get to know a different side of the city. Away from the hustle and bustle yet close to everything.

Antigua Weather - Best and Worst Months to Go

Antigua has 365 beaches -- one for every day of the year -- and plenty of good weather to go with each one. But the island has its share of bad weather months, too.

Besides the beaches, Antigua and its companion island of Barbuda are known for good shopping, historical sites and plenty of hotels, resorts and restaurants.

The island has little variation in temperatures throughout the year, but strong peaks and valleys with rain.

Antigua Weather - Best and Worst Months to Go

Tourists will experience an average high monthly temperature of 85 degrees Fahrenheit, the World Weather Organization says. The average monthly low temperature is 75 degrees.

Antigua weather in June through October reaches average high temperatures of about 87 degrees Fahrenheit. They reach a low of 83 degrees in December, January and February.

Rainfall averages 3.6 inches per month. It reaches a high of 5.5 inches in September, with almost as much rain in October and November. These months have the most storm and hurricane activity of the Caribbean's annual hurricane season, which officially runs from July 1 to November 30. The islands also see higher rainfall in May, although not as much as the fall months.

Antigua weather in February sees rainfall reach a low of 1.5 inches, followed closely by March, January and April, respectively. February through April average about eight rain days per month, while August, October, November and December average 13 days a month.

The best time to visit Antigua is March and April, while the worst time to visit Antigua is September and October, according to the Caribbean Tourism Organization.

A combination of warm temperatures and light rainfall make February through April along with June the least risky months for a vacation there. Likewise, Antigua weather in August through November along with May have the highest risk of rain.

Sosua Nightlife in the Dominican Republic

The average traveler doesn't know much about Sosua nightlife. Most travelers heading to Sosua, Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic will most likely end up at an all inclusive resort and spend the week in their hotel by hotel sipping on Pina Coladas.

And for a family heading to Sosua that might be the best option. But if your a single traveler and looking to experience some unique and exciting nightlife that I highly suggest you spend a few nights on the town.

Pattaya Hotels

Sosua is a beautiful little beach town by day. By night the lights go down, the bars open up, and the girls come rolling in. Most of the girls that you will find in Sosua will be "working girls." But even if you decide not to partake in that experience you can still have a great time drinking, flirting, and dancing the night away.

Sosua Nightlife in the Dominican Republic

The small town is filled with many little "beach bars." Beach bars are basically little bars that have an open feel to them. You can head too any of these bars and grab a Presidente for a few pesos and sit and enjoy the view. More than likely in the course of the night you will be approached by some sets of "working girls" but you can always politely send them away. More than likely though you will wind up chatting with them, dancing with them, and just having an all around good time. Although they are officially "working" they are not strictly business. They are ordinary girls looking to have fun too.

If you prefer the club scene to the bar scene then you won't want to miss out on Club X. Club X billboards are all over Sosua. The club is of average size. It is dark and usually filled with people. It is a great place to dance into the night. The club is open well past 4am for those of you who have the energy to go all night.

There is also a casino in Sosua that all caters to an after hours crowd. The tables are not high stakes so if you're in the mood to test your luck at roulette or black jack it is a good place to go and have a good time.

My recommendation for those of you heading to Sosua is to rent a condo or villa instead of booking a week at a hotel. While a hotel might offer some nice luxuries you will most likely wind up missing out on the fantastic Sosua nightlife.
